Twitter updated its Mac app today. The most interesting thing about the update is that they finally added Notification Center integration. The update also includes several bug fixes.

Ever wanted to have a group conversation on Twitter? Well, Fliite for iPhone sort of makes it possible. The app lets you write a message, then lets you choose up to 10 people and sends tweets separately to every people you selected individually, instead of mentioning everyone on a single tweet.

Twitter finally released their much rumored Twitter #Music app for the iPhone only. The service was designed to help users discover new songs and make it easy to share to Twitter. Twitter #Music uses tweets to detect popular tracks and artists to recommend to people.

Twitter updated its iOS app today to bring a very nice feature. The app now includes support for new Cards that give you the option to install new apps, or launch them if you already have them installed, from tweets, which comes very handy.

I've been very vocal regarding which app I use on my iPhone or iPad for Twitter. The official twitter iOS app has pass through a variety of transformations through the years since the social network bought Tweetie. This was my app of choice but after Twitter transformed it slowly into what it has become today I looked the other way, resorting in third-party apps.
