News made headlines recently regarding a Trojan that has apparently infected 600,000 Macs, including some at Apple in Cupertino. The Flashback Trojan, that has cause trouble before, apparently is back and has caused trouble to some users.

Security firm ESET has found out that Trojan OSX/Tsunami.A has been found to execute malicious codes on Macs too. Previously worked only on Linux machines. OSX/Tsunami.A ia an IRC controlled backdoor that enables the infected machines and Macs to become a bot for Distributed Denial of Service attacks.

Apple has had to deal with some trojans in the recent months. Some disguising as anti-virus or anti-malware. A more recent one pointed out by F-secure and posted by ArsTechnica.
Gustavo Franceschini | Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:54PM SecureMac has discovered a new trojan horse in the wild that affects Mac OS X, including Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6), the latest version of OS X. The trojan horse, trojan.osx.boonana.a, is spreading through social networking sites, including Facebook, disguised as a video. The trojan is currently appearing as a link in messages on social networking sites with the subject "Is this you in this video?"
