Facebook updated its iPhone and iPad app today to bring icons to status updates. This feature has been available for some users now and it lets them add moods to status updates, but this wasn't available from mobile devices.

Controversial Facebook app "Bang with Friends" has made it to the App Store [iTunes Link]. This iPhone app is designed to, well to help users do exactly what the name implies, withou the need to use it right from Facebook, although it requires to login with Facebook.

Facebook finally listened to me, and to all the brands that use Facebook Pages on their iOS devices. The social network released an update today that brings necessary improvements in performance. It finally ditched the HTML5 left on it and went completely native just like the main Facebook app.

Facebook updated its Messenger for iOS app today to add stickers, a feature added a couple of weeks ago to Facebook's main iOS app. The update also added a tweak to enable delete conversations by swiping, and improvements.

Facebook released Facebook Home for Android devices a couple of weeks ago. Essentially, Home is a launcher that changes the look the device sports and adds different features. Among these features are Chat Heads, which allow you to quickly reply or send messages from wherever you are on your device. This is available through Facebook's iOS app, but it can work as it does on Android due to the restrictions in place for accessing iOS resources.

When Apple introduced iOS 6 last year it told us that Facebook sharing was baked in this iOS version, meaning that you could share almost anything from core apps and third-party apps that integrate it to the social network. Facebook updated its iOS app today to finally bring back the ability to change or set your cover photo. This feature was available when the Facebook Timeline started rolling out and at some point Facebook removed support for this feature.
