Mercedes-Benz to Distribute iPads to Dealerships

Mercedes-Benz will expand its iPad program to all 355 dealerships across the globe, after a successful summer program resulted in positive gains to the company. Mercedes-Benz Financial VP Andreas Hinrichs expressed his enthusiasm for the program in an interview with MacWorld. "The feedback was so positive we said, we need to push this out to all the dealers and take the financing process to a new level."

Adobe Patches Critical Security Flaws

New versions of Acrobat and Adobe Reader 9.4 were made available by Adobe to address critical security flaws. Adobe states that these flaws could allow a remote attacker to gain control of a user's computer. It is reported to be already exploited on Windows based PC's only.

Well we definitely saw this coming. A couple of days ago we posted about IS Drive which is a download manager tied to ImageShack which is a BitTorrent service. The app could be adapted to services like Mininova and we argued why Apple allowed this app into the App Store when they are against anything that has to do with piracy.
