One issue many people have when using the iPad while lying down is the viewing angle, and I'm not talking about reading. Sometimes you just want to watch a movie, but many of the iPad stands available do not offer the best solution.
Alulas is a lightweight iPad stand made out of a polypropylene outer shell with core materials such as plastic, metal and magnets. Being lightweight helps you use the iPad for viewing media, without you having to hold it.
Its wing-like design is very appealing; it works for the iPad 2nd generation and up. It is also reversible, so you can sport the blue, red or grey stand, or use the black part.
The Alulas stand is a Kickstarter project. You can check out more photos and pledge right on their Kickstarter page.
