Tumblr for iPhone Updated with Messages, Tags, Shortcuts, and More

Tumblr for iPhone has been updated tonight and with the update comes some great features and enhancements. Tumblr 3.1 brings Messages, Tags, and more shortcuts.

Included in the update:

  • Messages: Send Fan Mail to your favorite blogs
  • Tags!
  • View tracked and featured tags
  • Track or untrack tags
  • Dashboard shortcuts
  • Fast reblog (press and hold Reblog icon)
  • Advanced post sharing (press and hold the Like icon)
  • Onboarding: Your friends can now sign up directly through the app!
  • Find blogs: Browse our Spotlight; search your contacts and Facebook
  • Alerts: Snazzy new treatment for Likes, Reblogs, and Follows

Tumblr is free and available in the App Store [iTunes Link].
