IMDb Update Brings iPhone 5 and iOS 6 Support

IMDb updated its iPhone app to add support for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5. In the process they added improvements and more features.

Included in the update: 

  • Fully compatible with iPhone 5 and iOS 6
  • Improved integration with Facebook
  • Set your Showtimes location by entering your city, state, or any popular landmark ("Eiffel Tower")
  • iOS 6 users can now map Filming Locations without leaving the app
  • Share news articles and showtimes listings more easily
  • Post your app feedback and questions to our IMDb Mobile Message Boards
  • Improved list handling of movies with special characters, such as ¡Three Amigos! (1986)

IMDb is available for free as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
