Apps You Must Have Before Updating to iOS 6

iOS 6 is about to be release in the coming hours and for those that still don't know, iOS 6 has less Google on it. Apple removed Google Maps and added its own mapping solution. But as I stated in my review, it is not entirely helpful. So what can you do?

While we wait for Google to release an official Google Maps app, you can download a handful of Map apps, like MotionX GPS, and some available for free like Scout and even MapQuest.

Apple also removed their YouTube app from iOS with this update. The app was lackluster and nobody will really miss it. So what can you do about this? Download the recently released official YouTube app from the App Store [iTunes Link].

The app works natively on the iPhone and iPod Touch, but not on the iPad. For that the best course of action is accessing YouTube from Safari or Chrome while we wait for the app to be updated to be used on the iPad.
