Unlock iPhone 5 Prices; Won't Be Available on Launch Day

Apple started taking pre-orders of the new iPhone 5 due out next Friday and some people have been asking whether they'll offer unlock versions. These prices are for those that will be sold in the US and Canada.

Just like the previous year, Apple won't offer them at launch, but will offer them at the same price the unlock 4S went on sale. 

  • iPhone 5 16GB – $649
  • iPhone 5 32GB – $749
  • iPhone 5 64GB – $849

No official word yet of when they will be offered.
