Washington Post Updates iPhone App with New Design and Features

The Washington Post has updated its iPhone app with a new design and a few new features to help you get the most out of the news.

Included in the update:

  • Add your favorite sections to the toolbar at the top of the screen 
  • These favorite sections will be cached on startup for offline reading 
  • See live weather conditions with radar maps, 7 day forecasts, weather alerts, and Capitol Weather Gang blog comments 
  • Enjoy full links within articles, photo galleries, and graphics in retina display 

In the DC Metro area? You can also: 

  • Check metro arrival times, delays, and entrances 
  • Check real-time traffic updates 

The app is free and available in the App Store [iTunes Link].
