The Red Cross Fixes Bug on its Hurricane iPhone App That Didn't Send Alerts to Users in Puerto Rico

The American Red Cross updated their iPhone app dedicated to Hurricanes. The update fixes an important bug that prevented it from sending Hurricane alerts to users in Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and parts of South Florida.

Also included in the update:

  • Hurricane tracker
  • Weather maps
  • New planning tools
  • New alert monitoring options
  • New I'm safe options
  • Improved battery life for active location monitoring

The app is free and available in the App Store [iTunes Link].
