Avid Studio Updated with Support for Retina Display iPad, Improvements, More

Avid has updated Avid Studio for the iPad with support for the Retina Display on the latest iPad. Some new features and improvements have been added in this update like support for Handbrake encoded videos, etc.

Included in the update:
- Full set of retina graphics (stay tuned for 1080p export – we’re working on it!)
- Improved Library update stability and workflow
- Proper handling of scenarios when media is removed from the device but still used in a project
- Add alpha channel support for PNG images
- Support for HandBrake encoded videos
- Fixed aspect ratio issues with some specific GoPro media
- Fixed occational issues with audio fade-in
- Overall improved performance and stability
- Updated localized HELP documents
- Fixed crash when opening projects with Titles over missing media
- Fixed export to Avid Studio PC failure when one of the new 14 transitions is used
- YouTube upload crash fix when wi-fi connection is interrupted
