Shazam for iPhone Updated with New Invite Friends Feature, Improvements

Shazam's iPhone app has been updated today with mostly fixes and improvements, but also a new feature has been added allowing users to easily invite friends to share their Shazam tags.

Included in the update:

  • Improved recognition rate
  • Faster application startup time
  • New: Invite Friends – now there’s an easy way to invite friends to share their discoveries
  • Crash fixes (including an occasional crash while tagging)
  • Fixed an audio capture issue that would sometimes cause repeated 'No Match' results until the app was restarted
  • Improved messaging around tagging issues (We hear you - it’s not always a Connection Issue)
