Marvel Releases "The Avengers Initiative: A Marvel Second Screen Experience" for iPhone and iPad

Marvel has released The Avengers Initiative: A Marvel Second Screen Experience, an iOS app that gives you extra content from the Avengers movie, which is due to be released on Blu-ray in the next couple of months.
It features:
- Enter the S.H.I.E.L.D. database on your second screen device accessing personnel files, comic book origins and exclusive interactive content.
- Become a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and participate in the Item 47 Comic-Con experience either remotely or in the field.
- Examine the confidential files of the Avengers.
- Updates throughout the summer will provide even more access to the S.H.I.E.L.D. database.
The app is free and available as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
