MapQuest for iPhone Updated with Improvements and Fixes

One of the best alternatives for navigation on the iPhone has updated recently to improve the experience and make it even better. MapQuest gives you the navigation tools you need at no cost whatsoever.

Changes included in the update:

  • Option to turn the voice off and still keep navigation going (In Menu > Settings)
  • Highway Exit #s to top of navigation screen
  • More helpful hints in the directions
  • Better walking directions
  • Enhanced accessibility for the visually impaired
  • New button to recenter you during navigation
  • New buttons to make the app even easier to use (Add a Location, Route Options)
  • Fixed some bugs

MapQuest is available for free in the App Store [iTunes Link].
