Evernote Acquires Note-taking iPad App Penultimate

Cocoa Box has announced that Evernote has acquired their note-taking iPad app Penultimate. This app is one of the best selling iPad apps, and one that I used a lot.

After acquiring Skitch last year, with this acquisition, Evernote sends a message that its committed to digital handwriting recognition.

Penultimate will remain an independent app, just like Skitch, and will be also made available to other devices in the near future.
