Apple Releases iOS 6.0.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple has just released iOS 6.0.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The update contains various improvements and bug fixes.

iPhone 5 users would need to install a patch in order to download and install iOS 6.0.1. The iPhone 5 came with a bug that prevented it from downloading and installing over-the-air updates.

To get this patch simply go to Settings > General > Software Update and the patch will appear. Tap "Learn More" to download the patch. Once it downloads, tap on the icon of the patch, then you will get back to Software Update to download and install iOS 6.0.1 over-the-air.
