Waze for iOS Just Got a Major Redesign with iOS 6 and iPhone 5 Support, New Features

Navigation app Waze has been updated today with iOS 6 and iPhone 5 support, but aside from that, Waze received a major redesign throughout the app with the addition of significant new features.

Included in the update:

  • See friends driving to your destination & everyone's ETA
  • Send a pick up request to grab anyone's location & navigate to them
  • Share your drive by sending a live map of your route & ETA to anyone
  • Sign in with Facebook
  • Nearing destination bar
  • Toll road usage indication
  • Private messages
  • Parking location pin
  • Support for iOS6 and iPhone 5

Waze is available for free as a universal app (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) in the App Store [iTunes Link].
