Incipio Faxion for Phone 5 [Review]

Yesterday we reviewed two DualPro versions from Incipio that combined the protection of a silicone cover and a hard shell. We also reviewed the snap-on case feather Shine, which gives an elegant look to the iPhone 5 without compromising with added weight and thickness.

This time we bring you the Incipio Faxion. This case is a slim flexible hard shell where you squeeze the iPhone in. The back of the case is glossy, giving the case a more durable feel.

The material is made of is the impact-resistant NGP, which has been used before in previous lineups. This material will protect your iPhone very well, although I wouldn’t bet on protection if it were dropped from too high.

I’m not particularly fond of these types of cases as I feel I have to squeeze the iPhone in and if I do, I tend to leave it on for quite a while since taking it out is a hard work. But Incipio made it easy to take it out thanks to an expansion joint where the “Incipio” name is.

The Faxion doesn’t add weight or that much thickness since it is very slim. The white version I got look very good with my white iPhone 5.

If you are looking for a good looking and simple case the Faxion is for you. Check out the variety of colors it is available at Incipio’s website.
