Apple Announces the iPad Mini

Apple announced today a new, smaller iPad, called the iPad Mini. This new iPad has a 7.9-inch screen, comes pack with Apple's A5 processor, Lightning connector, FaceTime HD camera and a 5 megapixel iSight camera.
The iPad Mini is 7.2 mm thin and weighs only 0.68 pounds. The bezel looks very thin on the sides and it fits comfortably in one hand.

It features dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi support for downloads of up to 150 mbps and there are options for LTE connectivity.
Wi-Fi version of the iPad Mini start at $329 with 16GB of storage, $429 for 32GB and $529 for the 64GB model. The Wi-Fi + LTE will be offered in the US through AT&T, Sprint and Verizon and they start at $459 for the 16GB model, $559 for the 32GB model and $659 for the 64GB model.
The Wi-Fi version will be available staring November 2 at Apple Stores and Authorized retailers in:
