Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 7:46AM iOS 5 beta 2 was released last week for all devs to test. In it there are many changes and the full changelog has been published already. But what have we seen that has changed since beta 1? Here what we have seen so far.
- Apple continues to tweak the Notifications Center. We have observed that when the screen is locked, the Notifications that arrived are much bigger than on beta 1.

- Calendar events now are displayed on Notifications Center.

- Email notifications appeared on the top bar when the screen is unlocked. Emails that are pushed do not appeared like any other notification when the screen is lock. So when the screen is unlocked, the email notifications appeared on the top.
- Software update- (OTA) Over the Air updates are enable on iOS 5. Now a dedicated section on Settings, just below "About", named Software Update, let's you checked for any available update.

- Now when you buy a song on iTunes on your computer, you receive a notification that a song has been purchased and that you can download to your device. This change comes from beta 1.

- Overall performance has been improved from beta 1 to beta 2. Much snappier, faster and keyboard has improved, since there were problems trying to tap on a given letter.
- Now wireless synching with iTunes through Wi-fi is enabled with iTunes 10.5 beta 2.
- iCloud Backup is available.
As more things appeared with continuous use we will let you know. iOS 5 should be release come September.
